Broadcast from your phone

Go live from an Android or iPhone using a streaming app — good for outside broadcasts and quick shows.

Create a free station to get your server details, then follow these steps.

1. Install a ShoutCast-compatible app: iziCast or Cool Mic (iOS), Spreaker-style apps or iziCast (Android).
2. Create a new server / output with protocol ShoutCast (or Icecast 2 if the app only offers that — then ask us to switch your station to Icecast).
3. Host: khwazamedia.com. Port: YOUR PORT. Password: YOUR BROADCAST PASSWORD.
4. Set the bitrate to 96–128 kbps for mobile data, choose your mic, and press Start.
5. Keep the screen on and the app in the foreground while broadcasting.

Tips

• On a mobile connection, 96 kbps is a good balance of quality and reliability.
• Use headphones to avoid feedback.
